Our season runs from 1st April to 31 October!  The campsite is very popular with guests, some visiting several times a year.  Overlooking the beautiful Derwent Valley, the farm is a haven for wildlife including Badgers and rare Black Fallow deer.

Facilities      

We have various toilet and shower facilities, all of our shower blocks have individual shower cubicles.  We also have a disabled persons shower room and toilet with baby changing facilities.  The main shower block is open 24 hours a day.

​

Should you need to do any washing whilst camping with us we have a washer and dryer available. 

​

Drinking water is available from all of the taps and we have a couple of pot washing areas.  Waste bins are provided around the campsite along with a recycling area.  

​

We have a wooden children's play area for children up to the age of 10, parental supervision is required at all times.  A games room with TV and freeview channels, various arcade games, pool table and table and chairs are also provided for your enjoyment.

Electric sockets and hairdryers are available in the shower blocks for use by guests.

Campsite

​

We have one field which we use for camping for the whole of the season (please see photograph below).  We have other fields which we use at certain times of the year but they are not open all of the time.  If you have visited us before and are looking to pitch in a particular field please enquire before booking if the field is open.  We do not like to disappoint!! Please note we do not offer electric hook up for tents.

Caravans

​

We have separate areas for tourers, camper vans, trailer tents and motorhomes * which are hard surfaced pitches and provide an all weather surface. Some have shared illuminated electrical hook up bollards with drinking water and some have individual electrical hook up points.  They all enjoy lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Tourers are unable to be pitched in the camping fields, they need to be booked onto one of the touring pitches. Please note tents are not able to be pitched next to the caravans. There is separate fields for tents.

Please note we do not accept Hobby caravans on site or in our storage facility.

Camping and Caravanning Club

We are now affiliated with the Camping and Caravanning Club as a listed site. We are not a club site and as such no discount is offered to members.

 

* The touring pitches can be uneven so levelling blocks are required and the awning area will require hard wearing pegs not grass pegs.
